In addition to outdoor cycling, enjoy the controlled environment of The Riding Room, featuring mountain and comfort bikes on indoor training stands. Enjoy big screen shows of cycling tours through some of the world's most exotic destinations like The Grand Canyon, Hawaiian Islands and B.C.'s Interior forests while you ride! Our in house projection system provides an awesome visual and musical element to the Riding Room experience. The Riding Room provides the opportunity to cycle during all weather conditions, winter months or anytime! It also enables riders the ability to cycle without negotiating traffic or varying road conditions. You can enjoy The Riding Room on your own, with friends or in a group. Casual use rates are posted below. You can also join one of WTLC's exciting Riding Room programs, providing scheduled weekly rides in a motivating group environment. WTLC's Riding Room programs are a great way for cyclists, runners or anyone to maintain training schedules year round without dealing with the elements. Enjoy exotic cycling tours while you ride, exercise and socialize. All bicycles and equipment provided Riding Room operating hours: 7am - 9pm everyday! Reservations are not required! You can drop in to The Riding Room on a casual basis during regular operating hours. Come on down and ride the Grand Canyon or take a tour of the Hawaiian coastline. You never know where you may be going, but you know the sun will be shining and there will be people riding!
Riding Room Boot Camp (Mixed) Riding Room Boot Camp is similar in format to outdoor Bicycle Boot Camp. Riding Room Boot Camp offers riders the opportunity to build muscle, endurance and stamina while working through tours of the world's most exotic cycling destinations on a big screen. This program combines fun and fitness in a result and goal oriented workout all year long! All Riders are welcome. Riding Room Boot Camp encourages group support while enabling each rider the ability to train and ride at a pace in their own comfort zone. The program consists of twice weekly scheduled sessions in four and eight week program formats. You can enjoy our standard Group program format or register as a Personal program and ride on your own, ANYTIME! Personal programs also offer additional time to complete to allow you flexibility as time demands! A great option for people with heavy schedules. You can ride on your way home from work or... You decide!
If you are looking for an effective lower impact recreational fitness program, try Riding Room Ride to Health. Ride, exercise and socialize while riding to tours of the world's most exotic cycling destinations. This Personal or Group program combines fun and fitness while achieving personal training goals. All Riders are welcome. Riding Room Ride to Health consists of twice weekly scheduled sessions focussed on personal fitness and training with a recreational element. Riding Room Ride to health offers riders a structured group environment and the ability to enjoy all the benefits of cycling in a controlled, traffic free environment. A very good option for anyone wanting to get involved in a group fitness program that combines cycling, entertainment, physical fitness and fun! You can enjoy our standard Group program format or register as a Personal program and ride on your own, ANYTIME Personal programs also offer additional time to complete to allow you flexibility as time demands! The semi-retired and retired crowd can enjoy the flexibility of "The Waterfront Trailblazers" prepaid ride package. You decide the time that fits your schedule. Come on in, get active and enjoy morning rides in the Riding Room. Start or finish your session with fresh tea or coffee and bagels or toast. A great start to any day. Give yourself one morning a week in the Riding Room. You'll be glad you did! This flexible program enables you to ride throughout the season.
Our commuter friendly, self directed Ride 'n Shine morning program includes personal cycling time with breakfast waiting when you are done (or before you ride). Enjoy one stop convenience for fitness and food and start your day on a roll! This flexible program enables you to ride throughout the season. Come in and jump start your day in the Riding Room.
